Orix aims to become largest EV charging provider in Japan
Japanese automobile rental company Orix has announced its goal to become the largest electric vehicle charging service provider in Japan.
According to Nikkei Asia, Orix plans to work with the softbank-backed startup Ubiden to construct 50,000 EV charging stations by 2025, Kallanish learns. Orix has already purchased shares of Ubiden.
