Oman to invest $30 billion in hydrogen economy
Oman is planning to invest over $30 billion in the hydrogen economy, as it aims to become one of the largest hydrogen producers in the world by 2030.
Oman energy minister Salim Nasser Al Aufi said the Sultanate is aiming to be carbon neutral by 2050 through a comprehensive national plan. An “important pillar” to this plan, the minister said, is investing in green hydrogen projects, Kallanish learns from a statement from the Oman News Agency.
