Nornickel pays record fine for fuel spill, works to resume output

Nornickel’s subsidiary Norilsk-Taimyr Energy Company has paid a record fine of RUB 146 billion ($1.98 billion) in compensation for an Arctic fuel spill last year, the company said on Wednesday.
