Ningbo to boost local NEV production
Ningbo City’s government, in the Chinese province of Zhejiang, plans to construct a new energy vehicle city. The goal is to have NEV production account for over 50% of its auto output by 2025, Kallanish learns.
In a ceremony announcing the plans, the local government also launched a research institute, which will have Ningbo Joyson Electronics’ chairman Wang Jianfeng as vice president.
