NICKEL, COPPER: Russia’s nickel exports up, copper falls
Russian nickel shipments increased but copper deliveries decreased in August, according to the country’s latest federal customs data monitored by Kallanish.
Exports of unprocessed nickel increased by 6.7 times compared with July to 10,100 tonnes. In monetary terms, shipments were sevenfold higher on-month at $187.9 million.
