NICKEL, COPPER: Russia’s copper exports up, nickel falls
Russian copper shipments have increased, but nickel shipments decreased in January-April, according to the country’s latest federal customs data monitored by Kallanish.
Exports of unprocessed nickel increased fell by 34.1% year-on-year to 19,600 tonnes. In monetary terms, shipments were 8.8% lower at $342.8 million.
Four-month exports of unprocessed copper amounted to 214,300 t, up by 3.3% y-o-y. In monetary terms, the indicators were 46.4% higher at $1.67m…
