NICKEL, COPPER: Ivanplats arranges $420m financing for Platreef project
Ivanhoe Mines reports that its subsidiary Ivanplats has arranged $420 million to advance its world-scale palladium-platinum-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold Platreef project in South Africa, Kallanish reports.
The company signed a non-binding term sheet with Orion Mine Finance for a $300m streaming facility. In addition, Societe Generale and Nedbbank were appointed lead arrangers for a senior project debt facility of up to $120m.
