NICKEL: Colombia's Q1 nickel output rises sequentially
Colombia saw its nickel production rise quarter-on-quarter in Q1, but volumes were lower compared to the corresponding period of 2020, Kallanish learns from the country’s mining agency ANM.
The country’s nickel production reached 15.4 million pounds in Q1 2021 or 14.1% more compared to the volume of 13.5m lbs in the fourth quarter of 2020. This volume, nevertheless, was down 32% over the 22.7m lbs produced in the same period of last year.
