NICKEL, COBALT, MANGANESE: Ocean Infinity acquires Ambrey
Marine robotics company Ocean Infinity announces that it has acquired Ambrey, a UK-headquartered maritime services company, Kallanish reports.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed but it comes at a time when interest in deep-sea mining of nickel, cobalt and manganese nodules from the floor of the Pacific Ocean between Hawaii and Mexico is growing. Ocean Infinity, with offices in Texas and the UK, is involved.
