NICKEL: China's nickel ore imports decline in October
China's nickel ore and ferronickel imports declined in October but remain up on-year due to increased demand, Kallanish notes.
Customs data shows that China imported 4.48 million tonnes of nickel ore in October, down 21.25% on-month and 12.52% on-year. This include 4.01m t of imports from the Philippines, accounting for 89.5% of total imports.
