NICKEL: BRN remains on schedule to deliver first production in Brazil
Brazilian Nickel Plc (BRN) is confident it will start nickel production at its Piauí Nickel Project (PNP) towards the end of the second quarter, Kallanish reports.
The UK-based company said in a market update on Thursday construction of the so-called PNP1000 project was 80% complete at the end of Q4 2021. This expansion of the demonstration plant will produce 1,400 tonnes/year of nickel and 35 t/y of cobalt.
