NICKEL: Ambatovy project resumes operations in Madagascar
Sumitomo Corporation announced Monday it has restarted operations on its Ambatovy nickel project in Madagascar following a year-long halt, Kallanish reports.
Production resumed on 23 March and is currently being ramped up. The plan is for it to reach 40,000 tonnes per year, the Japanese firm said.
