New Jersey commits $100m to state electrification efforts
The state of New Jersey is putting $100 million toward clean transportation programs via executive order from Governor Phil Murphy, Kallanish reports.
In concert with the funding - which will be drawn from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Intitiative and the Volkswagen Mitigation Trust Funds - Governor Murphy has established the Office of Climate Action and the Green Economy to spearhead the state’s clean energy and transportation efforts.
