Neoen's Bulgana Green Power Hub begins commercial operations in Australia
French-based Neoen says its Bulgana Green Power Hub in Victoria, Australia, has started full-scale commercial operations.
The hybrid power plant combines a 204 megawatt wind farm with 56 turbines and a 20 MW/34 megawatt-hour Tesla battery system, Kallanish reports.The AUD $350 million ($254.3m) plant has a 15-year support agreement with the Victorian government contributing to the state’s target of 50% renewable energy by 2030.
