Natron Energy to build $1.4 billion gigafactory in North Carolina
California-based Natron Energy, Inc. has announced plans to build what will be the first sodium-ion battery gigafactory in the US, Kallanish reports.
To be located in Edgecombe County, in the state of North Carolina, the $1.4 billion facility will have an annual capacity of 24 gigawatts.
