Mt Thirsty mineral resource increases by over 145%
Australian miners Conico and Greenstone Resources reported a 146% increase to the mineral resource estimate (MRE) of their Mt Thirsty nickel-cobalt joint venture in Norseman, Western Australia, Kallanish notes.
The updated global MRE now totals 66.2 million tonnes at 0.06% cobalt, 0.43% nickel and 0.45% manganese (indicated and inferred). This represents an increase of 39.3m t over the previous MRE.
