Magnis raises funds for New York lithium-ion battery gigafactory
Magnis Energy Technologies says it has raised AUS 34 million ($26.2m) through a stock share placement and the proceeds will be used to fast-track its development of a new lithium-ion battery gigafactory in New York state, Kallanish reports.
The Australian-based company says the iM3NY plant near Binghamton, New York, could begin production in late 2021.
