Lynas revenue drops on low prices, production slump
Australia-listed Lynas Rare Earths reported on Tuesday a 13.3% year-on-year drop in revenue for the fourth fiscal quarter ended 30 June, driven by production decline and low market prices for its products.
The rare earths miner recorded revenue of AUD 136.6 million ($90.51m), down from AUD 157.5m a year ago. Total rare-earth oxide (REO) output for the quarter was 2,188 tonnes, plummeting over 51% from the 4,475 t produced in Q4 FY23. Output of neodymium and pras…
