Lopal enters lithium battery recycling through acquisition
Shanghai-listed cathode material-focused chemical firm Jiangsu Lopal Tech has announced that it plans to acquire 100% of scrapped battery recycling firm Shandong Meiduo Technology to expand into lithium battery recycling, Kallanish learns.
According to the announcement, the transaction price is about CNY 101 million ($14m). The target company is also an affiliate of Lopal Tech. After the acquisition, Lopal Tech will invest another CNY 50m in Shandong Meiduo …
