LITHIUM: Western Australia offers 50% royalty holiday for miners
Western Australia’s government launched on Thursday a royalty rebate scheme to support three lithium producers in the region and protect over 600 jobs.
Under the scheme, Galaxy Resources, Pilbara Minerals and Altura Mining (currently under administration) will receive a 50% royalty rebate on spodumene concentrate for up to 12 months. The support will cover operations in Mt Cattlin and Pilgangoora.
