LITHIUM: Vulcan completes pre-feasibility study for lithium brine extraction
Prospective zero-carbon lithium producer Vulcan Energy Resources has completed a pre-feasibility study for its planned lithium brine extraction project in Germany’s Upper Rhine Valley.
The project will ideally produce 74 megawatts of geothermal energy, driving 40,000 tonnes/year of lithium hydroxide monohydrate at a price of €2,640/t - a global low, Kallanish learns.
