LITHIUM: Spearmint Resources pleased with initial lithium extraction rates
Canada-based Spearmint Resources reports that it has achieved 83% lithium extraction in preliminary metallurgical testing of its lithium clay project in Nevada’s Clayton Valley, Kallanish reports.
The tests by McClelland Laboratories of Sparks, Nevada, indicate that high extractions can be achieved by leaching with either sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid, the company says.
