LITHIUM: Research team discovers giant lithium mine in Himalayas

The Institute of Geology and Geophysics (Chinese Academy of Sciences) reports that its scientific expedition and research team focusing on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau region has discovered a giant high-grade lithium ore deposit (spodumene pegmatite type) in the Qongjianggang (Qiongjiagang in Chinese) Area of the Himalayas.
