LITHIUM: Prices to continue upwards trend in 2021-2022
Fitch Solutions is lifting its lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide price forecasts from 2021 to 2026 on the back of stronger demand driven by higher global EV sales expectations.
The company said in a recent report the revision follows higher estimates from its Autos team. It points out, however, that these assumptions tend to be on the conservative side and that it sees significant upside risks to its 2022 price forecasts, Kallanish notes.
