LITHIUM: Pilbara inks solar PPA for Pilgangoora operations
Australian lithium producer Pilbara Minerals has inked a long-term solar power purchase agreement (PPA) to reduce the carbon footprint of its Pilgangoora operations in Western Australia.
A 6-megawatt solar farm will be built, operated and maintained by Contract Power Australia, a subsidiary of Pacific Energy Group. The 15-year contract gives Pilbara Minerals the option to purchase the facility outright in the future, Kallanish learns from the company.
