LITHIUM: Pilbara gets closer to acquiring Altura’s lithium project
Australian lithium miner Pilbara Minerals is getting closer to acquiring Altura Lithium Operations (ALO) in a $175 million transaction, Kallanish reports.
The company signed a share sale agreement with receivers and administrators of Altura Mining on 1 December. Under the deal, Pilbara proposes to contribute AUD 6m ($4.49m), instead of AUD 4m, to the creation of a fund to support those Altura employees made redundant.
