LITHIUM: Pilbara doubles spodumene sales on improved demand
Australian lithium producer Pilbara Minerals said Friday its spodumene concentrate shipments more than doubled during the December 2020 semester of the 2021 financial year.
Sales rose 114.6% year-on-year to 114,239 tonnes thanks to better market demand conditions and improved plant performance and utilisation rates. Pilbara noted, however, that the SC6.0 market reference price remained weak.
