LG, Magna create $1 billion powertrain JV
LG Electronics and Magna International are forming a $1 billion joint venture to manufacture e-motors and other components to support vehicle electrification, Kallanish reports.
The firms announced on 23 December the new JV - LG Magna e-Powertrain - will accelerate time to market and capitalise on electrification emergence. LG Electronics will hold a 51% stake in the new company.
