LG increases sales, operating profit drops
LG Electronics' operating profit in the third quarter fell by half year-on-year while sales increased by 22% in the same time period.
LG Electronics released a performance report on 12 October. The company's sales in the third quarter of this year increased by 22% year-on-year to KRW 18.78 trillion ($15.84 billion), which breaks the record for single-quarter sales. However, operating profit decreased by 49.6% year-on-year to KRW 540.7 billion.
