Kazakhstan ramps up copper production
In Kazakhstan, a new hydrometallurgical plant has begun work in the territory of the Aktogay district of the Karaganda region, the press service of the regional government reports.
The enterprise will produce up to 5,000 tonnes/year of cathode copper, Kallanish notes. The plant was built within two years. The resource base for Irkaz Metal Corporation is the Borly deposit.
