Japan's JERA, Denso partner on H2 generation technology
Japanese power generation company JERA and automotive supplier Denso said Monday they will develop hydrogen production technology using solid oxide electrolysis cells (SOEC) and waste heat.
Under a joint development agreement, the companies will use a 200-kilowatt (kW) SOEC developed by Denso to conduct a joint demonstration of the technology. Set to begin in the fiscal year 2025, the testing will be conducted at a JERA thermal power station. Further details on th…
