Japan to resume water subsidies for semiconductor manufacturing
Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) has decided to resume subsidies for industrial water used in new engineering projects in order to support the country's semiconductor manufacturing expansion, Kallanish learns.
Currently, industrial water for new production projects is not included among possible subsidies. Only in the case of retrofit after earthquakes and disasters can subsidies be secured.
