ITM Power, Shell ink contract for 100-MW electrolyser
British electrolyser manufacturer ITM Power said Tuesday it has inked a contract with Shell to supply a 100-megawatt electrolyser for the oil giant’s green hydrogen project in Germany.
The announcement comes shortly after Shell took a final investment decision (FID) on the so-called Refhyne II project last month. The project, expected to produce 44 tonnes/day of green hydrogen, is anticipated to come online in 2027.
