Italian Duferco will use H2 for future steel mill
Italian steel producer Duferco Travi e Profilati has broken ground for its new smart beam manufacturing (SMB) rolling mill at its San Zeno Naviglio site, near Brescia, northern Italy. Supplied by SMS group, the facility will be powered by renewable energy and green hydrogen and will become operative in 2023, a company source confirms to Kallanish.
