InterGen to build UK’s largest battery storage
The UK has given the green light to the country’s largest battery storage project - and one of the biggest in the world - to be built at DP World London Gateway on the Thames Estuary.
Scottish energy company InterGen says in a statement on 30 November the £200 million ($267.4m) project gained consent from the government and is a “significant piece of infrastructure on the UK’s journey to net zero.”
