Inner Mongolia cancels several hydrogen projects
The energy bureau of the Chinese Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region says it will abolish 16 new energy projects, including six renewable energy hydrogen production projects, Kallanish learns.
The green hydrogen projects being cancelled have a total planned capacity of 2.16 gigawatts. Though the government and related companies did not elaborate on the decision, local media outlet Nenglianshe suggested they were economically unfeasible.
