IGO suspends Nova operation after fire
Australian miner IGO has suspended its Nova Operation (Nova) due to a fire over the weekend, Kallanish notes.
In the early hours of 3 December, a fire damaged the 10 megawatt Nova power station, which is owned and operated by the company’s power partner, Zenith Energy Pty Ltd (Zenith).
The Nova Emergency Response Team attended immediately and was able to isolate and extinguish the fire. There were no injuries and all personnel are safe…
