IEA to launch critical minerals security programme
The International Energy Agency (IEA) says it is launching a critical minerals security programme to help countries secure critical mineral supplies.
The programme, inspired by the agency’s oil security mechanism, is necessary because critical minerals are “an emerging energy security challenge,” says IEA executive director Fatih Birol.
