Hyundai, Michelin to collaborate on next-gen EV tires
Hyundai Motor Group and Michelin are expanding their collaboration to now focus on developing next-generation tires for premium EVs, Kallanish reports.
The South Korean carmaker said 20 June the parties intend to carry out joint research and development over the next three years. The goal is to develop eco-friendly tires, increasing sustainable materials from the current 20% rate to 50% of the total tire weight.
