Huawei said to be mulling EV entrance this year
Chinese technology company Huawei is reportedly making a move to enter the electric vehicle arena as early as this year, but the company denies intentions to develop an EV.
Citing unnamed sources, Reuters reported on Friday the company is in talks with state-owned Changan Automobile and other carmakers to build EVs in their factories. It also mentions discussions with BAIC Group’s BluePark New Energy Technology as a potential manufacturer of a Huawei EV.
