Honda doubles down on North America in its EV era
In a big win for Canada, Honda in April unveiled plans to invest CAD 15 billion ($11 billion) to establish a comprehensive EV value chain, encompassing all steps from raw materials procurement to vehicle production.
The Japanese automaker wants to build an “environmentally responsible” EV plant and a stand-alone EV battery plant near its existing facilities in Alliston, Ontario.
