Hitachi to produce new EV motors in Kentucky
Japanese tech firm Hitachi plans to open an electric vehicle motor production facility in Kentucky, Kallanish gleans from a company statement.
The facility will operate as a new company dubbed Hitachi Automotive Electric Motor Systems America Inc, headed up by president Shingo Nakamura. It will be located on extant Hitachi Automotive systems office and manufacturing space in Berea City.
