HH2E, MET Group to build 1 GW hydrogen electrolyser in Germany
German green energy start-up HH2E and Swiss energy company MET Group will build a €1 billion ($1.04 billion) industrial-scale green hydrogen project in Lubmin, on the German Baltic Sea coast.
Through their newly formed joint venture, H2 Lubmin, they will build and operate potentially 1 gigawatt of hydrogen production capacity. When fully operational, by 2030, the project will be one of the largest in Europe.
