Hainan Mining starts 20,000 t/y battery-grade lithium hydroxide project construction
Shanghai-listed Hainan Mining announced its 20,000 tonnes/year battery-grade lithium hydroxide production project has entered a large-scale infrastructure construction period, Kallanish notes.
The project in Danzhou area, in northwest Hainan Province, has a total investment of about CNY 1.06 billion ($144.83 million), with CNY 900m investment earmarked for fixed assets. Trial production is planned for the first half of 2024.
