H2U, Vopak join for Gladstone green hydrogen project
Vopak Terminals Australia has partnered with the Hydrogen Utility (H2U) to jointly develop H2U’s proposed green hydrogen and green ammonia project in Queensland, Australia, Kallanish learns.
The project, which H2U claims is the “largest” green hydrogen and ammonia development project in the state, will have a 3 gigawatts electrolyser capacity. It is expected to produce over 1.7 million tonnes/year of green ammonia, the firm says.
