Group14, REC to partner on Washington silicon battery material plant
Silicon-carbon composite producer Group14 and Norway’s REC Silicon are partnering to develop a joint commercial production facility in Moses Lake, Washington, Kallanish reports.
The co-locate facility will be sited on the campus of REC Silicon’s extant Moses Lake plant.
Groundbreaking is slated for 2021 for the 12,000 short ton/year silicon battery material facility.
