Gree increases footprint in lithium battery field
Chinese electronic appliance company Gree Electric Appliances plans to increase its investment in lithium cobalt oxide-focused batteries, Kallanish learns.
The company said in a statement it has signed a share transfer agreement with 12 counterparties to purchase 270 million shares in Gree Altairnano New Energy for CNY 1.02 billion ($142.8 million).
