GRAPHITE: Talga to start trial mining at Niska South deposit
Australia-listed Talga Resources said Wednesday it will start trial graphite mining at its Niska South deposit, in mid-September in northern Sweden, Kallanish reports.
The graphite ore mined during the trial will feed expanded testing of Talga’s Talnode-C lithium-ion anode for EV battery customer qualifications. Talga has a three-year permit to extract up to 25,000 tonnes of graphite ore from the deposit at Vittangi.
