Gotion High-tech to build battery gigafactory in Slovakia
Chinese battery manufacturer Gotion High-tech is progressing plans to build its first gigafactory with Slovak battery start-up InoBat, through their GIB joint venture.
The JV led by Gotion announced Thursday an undisclosed investment agreement with the Slovak government. Construction of the gigafactory in the Šurany Battery Hub is set to start at the end of 2024.
