Global EV sales rise 21% year-to-date
Global sales of electric vehicles have increased 21% year-on-year during the first seven months of the year to 8.4 million, according to UK research house Rho Motion.
The data released on Tuesday shows China continues to lead the growth with a 31% increase in volume during January-July to 5m units. In the US and Canada, sales rose 10% in the period to 1m EVs.
